What the heck are you holding? It looks like a picture of a flying saucer. But it's in your wallet. What does it mean? It's a very complex image you've created here. Also, you look thin. Are you eating?

I just have the bloato-face genes. Also I'm not just twigs and sinew like some people...
That "wallet" of which you speak is actually a tacky gold frame from the 70s. That flying saucer is actually an oil-painted tree. There are a couple other trees too, and a lake.
It's a mini oil painting of rustic proportions in a frame that would make Liberace proud.
It was a Christmas present from my grandma -- she removed it from her wall, put it in a bag and gave it to me.
One year my dad got a single Miller Lite from her refrigerator in a brown paper bag. At least the bag had some candies in it too. It's important to also note that my dad's kind of an alcoholic.
Since this thread was initiated by me I'll be the victim. The only grandma I ever had (the other died before I was born) didn't really give me any gifts, not that I can recall anyway. Actually, the only one I do recall is a volume of the Encyclopedia Britannica Kids series. And yes, it was just ONE volume, like Gi-Hu or something. I suspected even at the time that she had just gotten it from the grocery store. The main grocery chain at the time had that whole deal where they gave you so many 'stamps' per purchase and at some point you could redeem them for things. Sort of like Ski ball tickets. So anyway, yeah, I got one volume and that was it. And then I remember being at her house and seeing her package of Fig Newtons on the counter. She wouldn't share those though, they were 'just for her.'
Realistically speaking, where awkward social circumstances draw members of the board here into close vicinity, well it's only natural that we talk about you. I guess I should qualify that observation though too but saying that usually conversations about you start out with me asking Minti, "Do you think he really WOULD kill me?"
