As an introduction, I will list, first, my favorite and not-so-favorite music acts with at least a modicum of revolutionary orientation. With each band or performer, I will offer a brief review of their works. I will offer these pieces in alphabetical order, as far as possible. I will graduate to political and social revolutionaries soon. Then, please look forward to my political and social essays on Hannah Arendt, followed by Bourdieu, Chomsky, Fred Hampton, and Rosa Luxemburg in the near future. I'll be looking for your contributions. Thanks. Now, please see my essays on Tim Armstrong, Beethoven, Crass, and Discharge, for starters.
