The new PunkPlanet.com turns one month old today, and to celebrate we’re introducing BRAND NEW features to help foster an online independent underground community.
Tonight I’m happy to announce that registered users can:
- send and receive private messages via the inbox in the user menu and linked directly off of users’ profile pages.
- invite friends to join you (and the rest of us) at PunkPlanet.com via the “invite a friend” menu item—you can even find out if they’ve joined or not directly from the same menu item!
- we’ve saved the best for last: Now you can start a Friends list here at PunkPlanet.com—add folks to your list directly from their user profile pages with one click! Track what your friends are saying in their blogs and in the forums. And grow your circle of friends by being able to see who their friends are too! You can see your list directly from the “my friends” menu in the user menu
Now one warning: These features are still in testing. If you run into problems, please post them as comments here. We will address them all in due time.
