First, a comment: in the UK and former colonies, it's "sport" singular and "maths" plural, whereas in the ol' U.S. of A., it's "math" and "sports." I love that.
And now, Sport.
The Celtics are really sticking it to the Lakers in these closing minutes of the first half of game whatever-it-is. I do not care for basketball, but if I were a sports fan, now would be a good time to be in Boston. But I'm not. I just want everyone to have fun. No one loses when the score is fun to fun. Or when everyone's getting rich beyond my plebian imagination.
In addition, the cool evening breeze coming in through my window smells like a ton of Febreeze. It's gross. Time to time a male shout cuts the air, just a breath after the event airs on my television. It's eerie, being isolated in my disengaged apartment while the vast majority of other units, other houses, other blocks, and pretty well the entire city keys up to celebrate tonight.
I'm going to do the dishes now. Things got domestically out of hand and my whiskey glasses are making the place smell like I'm on a bender. It was a good birthday, not a "bender" birthday.

I used to get beat up for sucking at basketball.
Souds fun though. One step closer to death, etc etc etc...
